At the end of March, a candidate from the CONSORT Group joined the staff of the Moscow office of our long-term client — a major exhibition operator. Our company successfully cooperates with this client in several regions at once: in addition to Moscow, these are St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg.
The professional requirements for the company’s employees are traditionally above the industry average, and the remuneration is relatively modest. Therefore, every time you have to sort through a large number of candidates. In addition to the experience of organizing exhibitions and business events, fluent English, the employee was required to have such qualities as the ability to manage the commercial and financial components of projects, the ability to actively attract exhibitors. These skills are extremely important for working in the current difficult market, which, having not had time to recover from pandemic restrictions, immediately entered an even more difficult current year of sanctions restrictions.
According to the customer, such complex challenges can be handled by a candidate who not only possesses all of the above qualities, but is also ready, if necessary, to do the work “with his/her own hands”. Consultants of the CONSORT Group even managed to exceed the expectations. The competencies of our finalist also included tender work, and a deep understanding of the marketing and financial components of exhibition projects. And she was found among … former employees of the customer’s company. It was there that she began her career and was glad to return to her native company at a new stage of her career development.
