Some of my clients, with their search mandates, inspire optimism which we all need so much! Take, for example, a long-standing and much-loved client, a German manufacturer of industrial equipment, who has recently commissioned us to search for a Business Development Manager. And not to replace the previous manager who left but to expand business, enhance territory outreach and search for new opportunities for using that very complex equipment.
I was pleased with candidates’ high engineering level, their mobility and readiness to master new technologies. The sociability and openness of technical experts who are able to conduct negotiations at the level of directors of large industrial enterprises is the key to success of any undertaking!
It was a pleasure to work on this project, and it is not surprising that the manager who the client liked was found pretty soon and already started working for them.
